TERMS & CONDITIONS

Prices & Payment

All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the applicable rate.


Payment is required within seven days and please remember to include any additional required information.


Payment can be made by the following methods:

  • Paypal: sales@fymac.co.uk. Paypal is only accepted from buyers with a feedback greater than 3, otherwise you will have your payment refunded and will have to pay by another method. Goods can only be sent to the delivery address received via Paypal.
  • Credit/Debit Card: Email your card details to sales@fymac.co.uk or phone 0141-552-8419. Goods can only be sent to the cardholders address.
  • Cheque/Postal Order: Make payable to FYMAC Construction Supplies and post to 225 Kennedy Street, Glasgow, G4 0BS.

Please do not email asking for our bank account details as this is not an accepted method.


International buyers are responsible for any additional taxes and/or fees payable for receiving the goods into their country.

Shipping

Goods cannot be uplifted as we do not operate a collection facility. If you have any special requirements, please email before bidding as they almost always cost extra and will be ignored if not agreed beforehand.


Goods should normally be delivered within 3-5 working days after dispatch and may require a signature. Please allow 10 working days and check with your local office to see if they are holding your package before making a claim for non-delivery.


Please inspect before signing for delivery and mark on the carriers documentation the state of the packaging as a signature only implies received in good condition. You cannot then claim for receiving damaged due to packaging.


If goods are returned due to non-delivery, a second delivery charge will be applicable and must be paid before the goods are re-dispatched.

Postage

All postage quoted on listings is for delivery within the United Kingdom and the following criteria:

  • Royal Mail: To UK only
  • All Other Methods: To UK only and excluding the following postcodes:
    • Channel Islands: GY, JE
    • Isle of Man: IM
    • Isles of Scilly: TR21-25
    • Northern Ireland: BT
    • Scottish Highlands & Islands: HS, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE

Feedback

Please email us at sales@fymac.co.uk to resolve any issues that would stop you from leaving positive feedback as we will do our utmost to resolve to your satisfaction.

Availability

While we endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, occasionally we may have a run on stock. In these circumstances, your delivery may be delayed until stock is received or be made direct from the manufacturer. You will always be advised of any delay and given the option of cancelling your order.

Returns

We are always willing to discuss any concerns you may have and will do our utmost to ensure that you are happy with your purchase.


If you wish to return an item, please email us at sales@fymac.co.uk stating the goods to be returned, reason for return, sales record number, contact details (including daytime/mobile telephone number), as well as any pertinent information.

  • Damaged/Faulty/Wrong Goods

Please notify us within 24 hours of receipt stating the exact nature of the problem and where the goods should be uplifted from if different from the delivery address. We will then arrange collection as soon as possible or on a day that suits you.


For small items or items shipped outwith the UK, we may request that you post them back recorded delivery. This cost should be advised and will be refunded in full.


Replacement goods are normally dispatched the same day that the returnable goods are received and inspected.

  • Non-Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, it may be returned within 14 days providing it is returned complete, unused, and unopened in original packaging for a full refund less postage. A restocking fee may be incurred if the goods have been opened or are not in fully resaleable condition.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned safely at your own expense. Please use a reputable carrier obtaining a proof of delivery and package the goods securely. Returns will not be processed until the goods have been received and inspected.

Please note that this does not apply to goods made to your own specification, perishable goods, or goods that by their nature cannot be returned.

Errors & Omissions

Whilst every care is taken when creating listings, we reserve the right not to sell the goods where the price has been set up incorrectly at a price we cannot afford to sell at. We will contact you and offer our best price in the hope that this is acceptable.


By the same point, we will also accept returns without question for a full refund including postage where there was an error in the description of the goods.
